Studland Bay

Studland Bay offers four miles of pristine golden sand beaches along one of England’s most beautiful stretches of coastline. Owned by the National Trust, the bay comprises four distinct beaches – Shell Bay, Knoll Beach, Middle Beach, and South Beach – each with unique character. The sheltered waters are ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and family beach activities. Behind the beaches, rare heathland habitats host all six British reptile species including sand lizards and smooth snakes. The area features dramatic views of Old Harry Rocks, the iconic white chalk formations marking the Jurassic Coast’s eastern end. During WWII, these beaches served as D-Day landing rehearsal sites. Today Studland Bay provides the perfect combination of stunning natural beauty, excellent facilities, and rich biodiversity.
