Wimborne Minster

Wimborne Minster is a magnificent medieval church featuring twin towers, astronomical clock, chained library, and over 1,300 years of history. Founded as Saxon monastery around 705 AD, the current building dates from 1120 with Norman, Gothic, and later additions creating architectural treasure. The impressive twin towers – central and west – create distinctive profile. The astronomical clock from the 1320s features Quarter Jack striking bells.
